    Joan focuses on providing strategic advisory services to Allegro’s government, non-profit, and corporate clients. Deliverables include economic development strategy, land use planning, market feasibility, fiscal impact analysis, site selection, land assembly, government approvals, and regulatory requirements.

    Joan joined Allegro with more than 10 years of experience working across a range of real estate, economic development, and finance roles. Prior to joining Allegro, she conceptualized and authored the real estate strategy for a startup, managed real estate investments for a private equity firm, and conducted economic development research at a think tank. Additionally, Joan led the strategic planning process for a community development organization. Joan began her career in management consulting.

    In addition to research tailored for specific clients, Joan has authored public research. Her analysis of the rental market was published in Community Development Practice, a peer-reviewed journal. She also co-authored a book chapter on the role of arts in economic development.
